Premier League 2025/26 – Matchday 12 Betting Tips

Premier League Matchday 12

The final international break of 2025 is now over, and that means the Premier League’s return is fast approaching.

Fortunately, we will not have to endure another domestic football sabbatical until next March, making this weekend the start of perhaps the most crucial part of the season.

With Premier League fixtures on the horizon, we have picked out four Matchday 12 betting tips based on the latest football odds.

And English football’s return also means the return of our Weekly Premier League Offer. Wager £20 on qualifying Premier League Accas and earn yourself a £5 Free Bet.

Crystal Palace to beat Wolves @ 1.95

Palace may be on a run of just one win in five Premier League matches, but we still fancy Oliver Glasner’s men to get the better of Wolves on Saturday. The Wanderers, now managed by former player Rob Edwards, have been woeful in 2025-26, failing to win a single league game in 11 attempts. Back-to-back 3-0 away defeats vs Fulham and Chelsea before the international break means Wolves are already staring down the barrel of relegation. The opening stages of the game may see small glimpses of a ‘new manager bounce’, however, a stable Palace side should have more than enough to get the job done and earn three points at Molineux.

Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest: To assist a goal – Florian Wirtz @ 3.85

Wirtz has been a hot topic of debate throughout the season thus far, as he is yet to record a goal or an assist in the Premier League. However, the young playmaker reminded the world of his undeniable quality on Monday evening with a pair of assists to help Germany beat Slovakia 6-0. So a confident Wirtz should be arriving back on Merseyside for Saturday’s clash at Anfield, and we are backing him to finally break his Premier League duck. Forest are yet to keep a top-flight clean sheet under Sean Dyche, while Liverpool nearly always score on home soil. And if you fancy Mohamed Salah to benefit from Wirtz’s creative wizardry for the first time, the Egyptian is 2.00 to score anytime.

Brighton vs Brentford: Igor Thiago to have over 1.5 shots on target @ 3.25

Thiago has been one of the Premier League’s standout performers in 2025-26, tallying eight goals in 11 appearances for Brentford. The Brazilian bagged a brace in the 3-1 home victory over Newcastle before the break, and he is now up to 15 shots on target for the season – the third-highest total in the division. As such, we are quite surprised to see Thiago at such good odds in this market, even with Brighton on a run of two consecutive clean sheets. The Bees’ main man has recorded two or more shots on target in four of the last six games.

Aston Villa to beat Leeds @ 2.40

Leeds and Daniel Farke suffered quite a bit before the break, with a 3-0 loss at Brighton followed by a 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest. As for Villa, confidence levels were increased tenfold before the international window courtesy of a 4-0 victory over Bournemouth. Of course, that success was recorded at Villa Park, but we are still backing Unai Emery’s men to continue their fine domestic form at Elland Road. Leeds have won just one of their previous four home matches and look pretty vulnerable at the back, which the likes of Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins can take full advantage of.
