Recent results

United enter the contest on the back of 2-2 draws away from home vs Tottenham and Nottingham Forest. At Old Trafford, Ruben Amorim’s men have won each of the last four against Burnley (3-2), Chelsea (2-1), Sunderland (2-0) and Brighton (4-2).

After consecutive defeats vs Manchester City (2-0) and Tottenham (0-3), Everton responded with a credible 1-1 draw at Sunderland, and then a 2-0 win over Fulham at the Hill Dickinson Stadium before the break. But the Toffees have not won an away match since the 3-2 success at Wolves on August 30.

Head-to-head record

United have claimed victory in six of the last seven matches against Everton across all competitions, including last season’s 4-0 home triumph. The Toffees have not won a match at Old Trafford since December 2013, when David Moyes was in charge of the Red Devils!

Team news

United striker Benjamin Sesko has been ruled out for around a month with a knee injury, while Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire are also doubts for this fixture. Otherwise, Amorim has a fairly clean bill of health after the international break.

Everton are also looking pretty good on the fitness front, with Jarrad Branthwaite and Nathan Patterson likely to be the only absentees.

Manchester United vs Everton Betting Tips

Anytime goalscorer – Bryan Mbeumo @ 2.63

Mbeumo really has found his feet in a United jersey after a slightly slow start. He has scored four goals in his previous four Premier League appearances, including a brace in the 4-2 win over Brighton – which was the Red Devils’ last home match. So wagering on Mbeumo to deliver the goods once again feels a very sensible course of action.

Amad Diallo to commit over 1.5 fouls @ 4.33

Diallo has spent much of the season playing at right-wing back, with Mbeumo further ahead of him. If this is the case on Monday, the Ivorian will have to partake in a battle with Jack Grealish. Everton’s primary left winger draws fouls for fun, so while Diallo is not a player who often attracts the referee’s attention, things could be a little bit different in this game. And if you agree with our theory, the odds on offer are absolutely superb!

Casemiro to have over 0.5 shots on target @ 3.00

Casemiro’s odds in either the SOT or goalscorer markets always catch our eye, because he is an unlikely threat in the final third, mainly due to his prowess from set-pieces. The Brazilian has netted three Premier League goals this season, and has taken also 10 shots on goal in 10 appearances. If that trend continues, and the shot lands on target, this selection would be a nice little earner.
