Arsenal vs Wolves – Premier League 2025/26 Match Preview & Betting Tips

Arsenal vs Wolves Preview

Table-toppers Arsenal are looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

And Mikel Arteta could not have asked for a better opponent following the dramatic loss at Aston Villa last weekend, as Wolves are yet to win a top flight match this season.

As Premier League fixtures go, this could be as one-sided as it gets, with the Gunners winning all but one home game so far in 2025-26.

Recent results

Arsenal suffered only their second Premier League defeat of the season at Villa (2-1), but bounced back in style on Wednesday evening with a 3-0 Champions League win at Club Brugge.

At home, the Gunners have won each of the last three vs Tottenham (4-1), Bayern Munich (3-1) and Brentford (2-0), with Manchester City the only team to leave the Emirates with a draw this season.

In stark contrast, Wolves are on a nine-game streak of defeats in all competitions, losing the last six in the league by an aggregate score of 14-1 following Monday’s 4-1 loss to Manchester United.

Since Rob Edwards took charge, the Wanderers are yet to pick up a single point, and to say things are looking bleak is something of an understatement.

Head-to-head record

Arsenal have won the last eight matches vs Wolves, claiming a 2-0 home victory last season.

The Wanderers’ only triumph (1-2) at the Emirates came way back in November 2020, a match marred by the serious head injury suffered by Raul Jimenez.

Team news

William Saliba, Leandro Trossard and Declan Rice could all return to the Arsenal squad after missing the trip to Bruges, but Gabriel Magalhaes, Kai Havertz and Cristhian Mosquera remain absent. Riccardo Calafiori is suspended after picking up five yellow cards.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is set to miss out here after picking up an injury in the loss vs United, the Haitian joining Rodrigo Gomes and Marshall Munetsi on the treatment table. But Joao Gomes is available again after serving a one-match suspension.

Arsenal vs Wolves Odds

*All odds are subject to change

Unsurprisingly, Arsenal are huge favourites for the win here at a price of 1.14. Amazingly, a Wolves victory is at odds of 19.00, which is almost unheard of for a Premier League fixture. The draw here is 7.60.

Arsenal vs Wolves Betting Tips

Player to score or assist – Declan Rice @ 2.57

Rice missed the game vs Club Brugge with illness, although that is probably a positive for Arteta given the midfielder’s workload in recent weeks. But Rice should return to the XI here, and with five goal contributions in the Premier League already this season, we are tad shocked to see how good the odds are – especially given his set-piece wizardry!

Player to score or assist – Bukayo Saka @ 1.67

This is probably a safer bet than the one above. Three of Saka’s four Premier League goals in 2025-26 have come at the Emirates, while he has scored in three of his last four appearances vs Wolves. Saka was also rested for the most part on Wednesday, so expect him to come out firing on Saturday evening.

Arsenal total goals – Over 2.5 @ 1.78

Wolves conceded three goals in two of their previous three away trips, and their defensive frailties were evident for all to see against United on Monday. If Arsenal break the deadlock early on, things could get ugly for the visitors.
