AFCON 2025 has been a special tournament, and now we are down to the final four nations.
Senegal, Egypt, Nigeria and Morocco – all past winners of the competition – have qualified for the semi-finals, with both games taking place tomorrow.
Up first is Senegal vs Egypt, which is a repeat of the AFCON 2021 final, and gives us another edition of Mohamed Salah vs Sadio Mane.
Then the host nation Morocco take on in-form Nigeria, who look capable of blowing any team away with an awesome frontline, spearheaded by Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.
We cannot wait for the semi-final action to get underway, and here are our betting picks based on the latest AFCON odds.

Senegal vs Egypt
Both teams to score – Yes @ 2.09
Egypt’s matches in the knockout rounds have been thrilling affairs. The Pharaohs beat Benin 3-1 in the last 16, before an epic quarter-final encounter with holders Ivory Coast, which finished 3-2. Overall, this BTTS selection has landed in three of Egypt’s five games at AFCON, while it also came in when Senegal beat Sudan 3-1 in the last 16. At such a great price, taking a calculated risk on the selection being designated a winner once again looks a solid move to make.
Anytime goalscorer – Mohamed Salah @ 3.45
Salah is the definition of a big-game player, and if Egypt are to make the final, you feel the Liverpool star is going to have to stand tall and deliver. He has enjoyed a good tournament thus far, netting four goals and tallying one assist from just four appearances. After issues at club level this season, Salah will be itching to remind the world of his class, and there is no better stage to do so than here. In five previous appearances vs Senegal, the Egyptian King has failed to score, but there is a first time for everything – right?
Nigeria vs Morocco
Total goals – Over 2.5 @ 2.34
Nigeria are the leading scorers at this edition of AFCON with 14 goals from just five matches, while Morocco boast two of the most prolific forwards at the tournament in Brahim Diaz (5 goals) and Ayoub El Kaabi (3 goals). So while semi-finals can often be tense, nervy affairs with goals at a premium, this contest could be slightly different. Over 2.5 goals were scored in four of Nigeria’s five previous matches, and if the Super Eagles get on top early on, Morocco may need to flex their own attacking muscles. A goal-filled semi-final in Rabat? Yes please!
Anytime goalscorer- Victor Osimhen 3.14
Speaking of goals, Galatasaray striker Osimhen has been typically brilliant for Nigeria at this AFCON. In five appearances, the aggressive and high-quality front man has netted four goals and tallied two assists, with his presence troubling every defence the Super Eagles have come up against. Of course, Morocco’s back-line is the strongest at AFCON, with the Atlas Lions conceding just one goal in five matches after beating Cameroon 2-0 in the last 16. But the threat of Osimhen is a different one entirely, and with Lookman pulling the strings behind him, we fancy the forward to further enhance his already fantastic international record (35 goals in 50 appearances).
