Galatasaray vs Liverpool: Player to score or assist – Mohamed Salah @ 1.88
Salah scored in Liverpool’s last two matches, both of them visits to Wolves in the Premier League and FA Cup respectively. The Egyptian was also on target in the Reds’ previous Champions League encounter, the 6-0 thrashing of Qarabag. So there are promising signs indeed, and Arne Slot needs to lean on his most experienced attacker at Galatasaray’s hostile stadium. And we are backing the winger to make his manager very happy with another crucial contribution.
Barcelona to score over 1.5 goals vs Newcastle @ 1.69
Newcastle have failed to keep a clean sheet in 13 games across all competitions, letting in three goals in each of the last two games at St James’ Park. A 3-2 loss to Everton was followed by last Saturday’s 3-1 defeat vs Man City, results which will have Hansi Flick’s free-scoring Barcelona side licking their lips. The Catalans have scored three or more goals in three of the last four matches, with Lamine Yamal tallying eight contributions in the last seven La Liga matches. As such, we are predicting another tough night for Eddie Howe’s back-line.
Atletico Madrid to beat Tottenham @ 1.52
Spurs are yet to win a Premier League game in 2026 from 11 attempts, a woeful record which almost beggars belief. Results in Europe since the turn of the year have been far better with wins over Borussia Dortmund (2-0) and Eintracht Frankfurt (0-2), but Atletico away should be a step too far for Igor Tudor’s men. Diego Simeone’s side have won each of the last four home games, scoring 15 goals in the process following the 3-2 win over Real Sociedad on the weekend. If Atleti score early, a thrashing is on the cards – and the Spaniards are at odds of 2.62 to score over 2.5 goals for the fifth home match running.
Real Madrid vs Manchester City: Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.51
Real Madrid and Man City meet again after already colliding in the League Phase, with the latter winning 2-1 at the Bernabeu on that occasion. This regular battle seems to always feature goals, with the BTTS market landing in each of the last five editions of the fixture. Furthermore, each of the last six games at Real’s home against City have seen both teams score, so the stats suggest this pick is close to a banker. As previously mentioned, City won 3-1 at Newcastle on the weekend, while Los Blancos claimed a 2-1 victory at Celta Vigo.
