The Golden Glove is an individual award handed to the best goalkeeper at a World Cup.
And this is just the latest step in our look at the current favourites before the 2026 tournament in North America gets underway on June 11.

But back to the Golden Glove, and here are the latest outright World Cup odds available on NetBet Sport.
*All odds are subject to change
Emiliano Martinez (Argentina) – 5.00
Martinez won the Golden Glove in 2022 after helping Argentina lift the trophy in Qatar. The Aston Villa ace pulled off a remarkable save to thwart France’s Randal Kolo Muani in the dying seconds of extra-time in the final, and produced some penalty heroics throughout the tournament. A worthy favourite? Perhaps.
Unai Simon (Spain) – 5.50
Despite having David Raya and Joan Garcia as options, Spain boss Luis de la Fuente is likely to stick with Athletic Bilbao’s Simon as his No1. It is a decision which may lead to some criticism, especially given Raya’s form in an Arsenal jersey during the 2025-26 season. But one mistake could prove fatal as a result, even for a keeper of Simon’s prestige and experience on the international stage.
Alisson Becker (Brazil) – 6.00
Alisson is just coming back from a long-term injury, so Brazil boss Carlo Ancelotti has a decision to make with regard to his first-choice goalkeeper for the World Cup. The Liverpool man has played 76 games for the South American nation and on his day, there are still few – if any – better players in the position.
Ederson (Brazil) – 7.00
But if Ancelotti has any lingering doubts about Alisson’s sharpness between the sticks, he will turn to former Manchester City man Ederson. Now plying his trade with Fenerbahce, Ederson has 31 Brazil caps to his name – and is arguably the best in the business with the ball at his feet.
Mike Maignan (France) – 7.00
Unlike Brazil and Spain, France’s No1 spot is not the focus of any debate. Maignan is the main man for Les Bleus and manager Didier Deschamps, and is also the captain of AC Milan at club level. The Frenchman kept 14 clean sheets from 37 Serie A appearances in 2025-26, a fine record for a fine goalkeeper.
David Raya (Spain) – 8.00
As mentioned above, it is quite likely that Raya will not play a minute at the World Cup. But his ever-growing reputation means he is still a strong contender in the pre-tournament Golden Glove market. For what it is worth, Barcelona’s Garcia is priced at 21.00, which is the same as Netherlands’ Bart Verbruggen and Belgium’s Thibaut Courtois.
Jordan Pickford (England) – 8.00
England are the third favourites to win the World Cup and Pickford is the undisputed No1, a goalkeeper capable of the extraordinary and a huge personality. As such, his odds here look very attractive indeed. Pickford kept 11 clean sheets for Everton in the 2025-26 Premier League season, so looks in fine form ahead of the World Cup.
Diogo Costa (Portugal) – 11.00
Costa arrives at the World Cup on the back of an incredible individual season at club level. He kept 21 clean sheets in 33 Portuguese top-flight matches in 2025-26, conceding only 15 goals. Costa is a top-quality operator, a brilliant shot-stopper who can ping passes for fun. A great wildcard pick in this market.
Manuel Neuer (Germany) – 17.00
Old warhorse Neuer is back in the Germany fold, and there are few goalkeepers in history more experienced on the international stage. The 40-year-old has played 124 times for Die Mannschaft, helping the nation win the World Cup in 2014. A swan song in North America from one of the true greats is certainly not beyond the realms of possibility, even if Julian Nagelsmann is overseeing a period of transition in German football.
