It is the second time Pep Guardiola\u2019s side have failed to win on the road in their first three away games, which might just be starting to become a cause for concern.<\/p>\n<p>City travel to the Midlands with hopes of getting back to winning ways and ending Wolves\u2019 three-match unbeaten streak. Bruno Lage\u2019s side have been extremely solid at the back \u2013 something we have come to expect \u2013 but City\u2019s 20 goals in six games makes it almost a foregone conclusion that they will have no trouble breaking down the league\u2019s best defence.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s taken Erling Haaland just six games to reach a double figure goal tally, and providing he keeps fit, we might see a new goalscoring record set this season. The issue with facing this City side is that even if you manage to keep the machine quiet, you then have to find a way of nullifying the countless other attacking threats they have. Unfortunately for Wolves, we can\u2019t see them holding out for 90 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast to the dynamic City attack, it\u2019s difficult to see where a Wolves goal will come from. No team have scored fewer than the hosts \u2013 they have netted just three times in six games and are yet to score multiple times in a match. Diego Costa is certainly an intriguing addition, but he hasn\u2019t played since December, so it\u2019s unlikely he will provide any instant impact to this struggling side.<\/p>\n<p>Wolves will undoubtedly look to be compact, contain City and try to catch them on the break. But there is only so long you can withstand Pep\u2019s pressure before the floodgates open. Guardiola\u2019s side have won four consecutive games against Wolves and have netted 13 in the process \u2013 an average of 3.25 goals a game.
