Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Forest will be hoping to close the three-point gap between themselves and safety before the World Cup, but they face a tricky visit from Crystal Palace this weekend. The Eagles have continued improving under Patrick Vieira, with three wins in their last four games leaving them comfortably in midtable, the same number of points away from the top four and bottom three.<\/p>\n

Forest have managed just one win in their last 12 Premier League outings, with victory over Liverpool the only high point since mid-August. Steve Cooper needs to come up with a solution in the domestic winter break, otherwise Forest are headed straight back to the Championship.<\/p>\n

Newcastle vs Chelsea<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It would take a brave soul to bet against Newcastle in their current form. Eddie Howe is working miracles at St. James\u2019 Park \u2013 they have won four consecutive matches and are unbeaten since August. The Magpies have netted eight in their last two games and will be brimming with confidence as they prepare to welcome Chelsea up north.<\/p>\n

Graham Potter\u2019s early momentum at the helm has dwindled. Chelsea are without a win in four league games and have lost back-to-back matches for the first time this season. There were few, if any, positives to take from the 1-0 defeat against Arsenal. The Blues were lifeless going forward and lacked any real intensity. Potter is no doubt the man to turn it around, but a trip to the high-flying Newcastle is far from an ideal opportunity to do so.<\/p>\n

Wolves vs Arsenal <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Arsenal\u2019s 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge solidified their place in this title race. They have shown no signs of slowing down, and heading into the international break on top of the league would be an enormous statement of intent.<\/p>\n

The Gunners are the joint best defensive outfit in the division and have kept three clean sheets in the last four league games. Mikel Arteta will like his side\u2019s chances of keeping that run going against a Wolves team that have netted just eight in 14.<\/p>\n

Wolves\u2019 defeat to Brighton last weekend was a sixth in eight matches. They have now picked up red cards in successive matches as frustration at Molineux begins to grow. It\u2019s easy to say they will have enough quality to avoid the drop, but the longer this poor form continues, the more tense the situation will become. The hosts will have to pull off their best performance of the campaign if they are to take anything from the visiting Londoners.<\/p>\n
