Another defender thriving under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, John Stones is one of the first names on the England team sheet.<\/p>\n

He is one of the best in the Premier League at stepping into midfield, and although unlikely to play that roles at the Euros, his ability on the ball will be crucial.<\/p>\n

Centre Back \u2013 Harry Maguire<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ray\u2019s opted for Maguire on the left side. Who can blame him? Maguire is another one that seems to improve with the England shirt on.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s had a tough time at Manchester United since the arrival of Erik ten Hag but continuously proves his worth for England. Will also stick his head on the end of anything when it comes to set pieces.<\/p>\n

Left Back \u2013 Luke Shaw<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Luke Shaw, Ben Chilwell or Kieran Trippier at left back? Ray\u2019s gone with another United boy in Shaw. It all depends on if he can stay fit.<\/p>\n

Shaw was brilliant at Euro 2020, particularly in the knockouts, culminating in the iconic goal against Italy in the final. Ultimately, it was for nothing. But he\u2019s proven he can rise to the occasion.<\/p>\n

Central Midfield \u2013 Declan Rice<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Another crucial player down England\u2019s spine. Declan Rice is a non-negotiable for most, including Ray.<\/p>\n

He has been among the signings of the season, anchoring a title-challenging Arsenal side. Pace, power, defensively astute, technically proficient, and with an eye for goal, Rice will be a mainstay for the next decade.<\/p>\n

Central Midfield \u2013 Jude Bellingham<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It\u2019s been Bellingham\u2019s breakout season. We\u2019re not sure you could find a single England fan who would not start the youngster.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s taken La Liga by storm since joining Real Madrid, becoming a cult hero in a matter of months. The boy has got everything and he\u2019s about to announce it in one of the biggest tournaments of all.<\/p>\n

Central Midfield \u2013 Phil Foden<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There are arguments about where Foden\u2019s best position is, but it is generally accepted that he should be starting at the Euros.<\/p>\n

He has been among Guardiola\u2019s most consistent players this season amidst the injury concerns to Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland. We are still yet to see the best of him in an England shirt.<\/p>\n

Right Wing \u2013 Bukayo Saka<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Saka goes about his business effortlessly. He\u2019s one of those players that makes the game look easy, complimenting those around him.<\/p>\n

Cutting in off the left with Walker overlapping on the right? Yes please.<\/p>\n

Left Wing \u2013 Jack Grealish<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Left wing is where most people tend to disagree. Some have Grealish, some have Foden, and some have Marcus Rashford. There have even been shouts for Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon.<\/p>\n

Ray\u2019s gone with another City star in Grealish. It\u2019s not been the Brummie\u2019s season just yet. He has faced an extended period sidelined due to injury and faces competition with Jeremy Doku when he returns.<\/p>\n

But when he\u2019s at it, he\u2019s unplayable. Grealish has that character and charisma you want in the big games.<\/p>\n

Centre Forward \u2013 Harry Kane<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The first name on the team sheet. Harry Kane makes England tick. There were some doubts about his move to the Bundesliga, and those have been amplified with Bayern off the pace at the top of the table.<\/p>\n

However, he never lets England down (penalty against France aside). His scoring record this season in Germany is remarkable and England fans will be hoping he carries that momentum into the Euros.<\/p>\n
