Manchester United and Fulham kick off the 2024-25 campaign on Friday evening, with the Old Trafford curtain raiser followed by nine other matches.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first Saturday evening kick-off of the new Premier League season has the potential to be an absolute cracker.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hosts West Ham, with Julen Lopetegui in charge and a plethora of summer signings ready to impress, will fancy their chances against an Aston Villa side who will soon be competing in the Champions League.<\/span><\/p>\n

They will also hope to have the likes of Phil Foden, Rodri and Kyle Walker back and available after their exploits at Euro 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

As such, we fancy Pep Guardiola\u2019s men to emerge victorious at Stamford Bridge, particularly with Chelsea\u2019s lack of form during their pre-season campaign under new manager Enzo Maresca.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Blues won just one of their pre-season outings and actually lost 4-2 to City in the United States of America, a match in which Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick.<\/span><\/p>\n
