So many games thrilled us across the 12 months and it was incredibly hard to narrow this list down to just five fixtures.<\/span><\/p>\n

But we have given it a go. So, without further ado, here are NetBet<\/a>\u2019s picks for the craziest Premier League<\/a> matches of 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bournemouth 4-3 Luton (March)<\/b><\/h2>\n

One of the greatest comebacks in Premier League history took place in March, as Bournemouth bounced back from 3-0 down.<\/span><\/p>\n

A stunning first-half display from Luton at the Vitality Stadium saw goals scored by Tahith Chong, Chiedozie Ogbene and Ross Barkley.<\/span><\/p>\n

But the Cherries came out firing in the second 45 as strikes from Dominic Solanke and Illia Zabarnyi reduced the deficit to just one.<\/span><\/p>\n

A brace from Antoine Semenyo then sealed a famous win, the second effort coming with just seven minutes of normal time remaining.<\/span><\/p>\n

Newcastle 4-3 West Ham (March)<\/b><\/h2>\n

Another cracker from March. West Ham raced into a 3-1 lead at St James\u2019 Park as the hosts had to contend with several players leaving the field injured.<\/span><\/p>\n

But it was one of the substitutes who changed the game for Newcastle, Harvey Barnes netting a match-winning brace in the final 10 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alexander Isak had scored twice from the penalty spot, with Michail Antonio, Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen all on the scoresheet for West Ham.<\/span><\/p>\n

And just to cap off the drama, Anthony Gordon was shown a second yellow card in second-half stoppage time. What a game!<\/span><\/p>\n

Chelsea 4-3 Manchester United (April)<\/b><\/h2>\n

Comebacks do not come more epic than Chelsea\u2019s against Manchester United.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Red Devils were leading 3-2 up until the 99th minute thanks to a Alejandro Garnacho double either side of Bruno Fernandes\u2019 equaliser.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cole Palmer levelled the scores at 3-3 from the penalty spot following a lengthy VAR review, before netting a 101st-minute winner to seal his hat-trick and spark scenes of pandemonium at Stamford Bridge.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is the latest winning goal ever scored in the Premier League, a record which may stay intact for quite some time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Everton 2-3 Bournemouth (August)<\/b><\/h2>\n

To say the second half between Everton and Bournemouth at Goodison Park back in August was crazy is something of an understatement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Goals from Michael Keane and Dominic Calvert-Lewin appeared to have the Toffees cruising to a home win.<\/span><\/p>\n

But from the 86th minute onwards, chaos ensued. Semenyo pulled one back for the Cherries, before Lewis Cook equalised in the 92nd minute.<\/span><\/p>\n

And there was to be more heartache for the Everton faithful as Luis Sinisterra was on hand to make it 3-2 in the 96th minute. Bournemouth and dramatic comebacks, a real feature of 2024!<\/span><\/p>\n

Manchester City 2-2 Arsenal (September)<\/b><\/h2>\n

After a few dull meetings between City and Arsenal, this game lived up to the hype and more. <\/span>Erling Haaland put the hosts deservedly ahead and for a short amount of time, it looked as if the Citizens would romp to victory.<\/span><\/p>\n

But Rodri\u2019s serious knee injury changed the game, with Arsenal going on to take a 2-1 lead thanks to a stunner from Riccardo Calafiori and a Gabriel Magalhaes header.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just before the break, Leandro Trossard was shown a second yellow card for kicking the ball away, paving the way for the Gunners to display perhaps the deepest block ever seen in the Premier League.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ultra-defensive tactics almost worked, too, before John Stones\u2019 equaliser deep into stoppage time. With needle between the sides both during and after the game, this really was an all-time classic!<\/span><\/p>\n
