Reigning world champion Luke Littler – who also won the 2024 edition of this tournament – headlines a stellar eight-man cast, all of whom will compete across 17 weeks to lift the famous trophy.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the 21st edition of the Premier League and it promises to be the best yet, with ridiculous averages set to be recorded and the potential for multiple 9 Dart Finishes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Littler, the World No2, is joined in this year\u2019s tournament by the following players: Luke Humphries (1), Michael van Gerwen (3), Rob Cross (4), Stephen Bunting (5), Gerwyn Price (9), Chris Dobey (10) and Nathan Aspinall (11).<\/span><\/p>\n

So far this year, Bunting and Cross have claimed World Series titles. The former won the Bahrain Masters, while the latter emerged victorious at the Dutch Masters.<\/p>\n

And Humphries won the World Masters last weekend, a seventh major title in 15 months, success which only strengths his claim as the best player on the planet right now.<\/p>\n

What is the Premier League format?<\/b><\/h2>\n

The 2025 edition of the Premier League will follow the same format that was first introduced back in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each night will see four quarter-finals take place, followed by two semi-finals and then the final.<\/span><\/p>\n

Players will receive five points for winning the final, while the runner-up spot guarantees three points. The other two semi-finalists are awarded with two points.<\/span><\/p>\n

Until the Play-Offs, every single match will be the best of 11 legs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the League Phase, the top four players in the table contest the semi-finals in London, with 1st playing 4th and 2nd taking on 3rd.<\/span><\/p>\n

These semi-finals will be the best of 19 legs, while the final is best of 21 legs.<\/span><\/p>\n
