This years list makes for interesting reading. The vast majority of the players mentioned here\u00a0haven’t lived up to expectation.\u00a0The rest have just been awful and for that reason we want to put it out there as a discussion point. We’re not going claim to back up all our choices with stats just because a number of the candidates have clearly not performed to the best of their abilities. \u00a0I’m sure a few lucky ones have escaped our list. So let’s begin.<\/p>\n

Wayne Rooney<\/h3>\n

Many are split on him making this list. In a season which has probably seen the worst Manchester United team in a nearly two decades, you’d expect Wayne Rooney to be the stand out player in the team. Sadly he’s only scored 7 goals and statistically been outperformed by Chris Smalling, Daley Blind, Juan Mata and Schneiderlin. A number of pundits and fans on our Facebook<\/a> page have expressed leaving him out of the Euro16 England squad. The remainder of this year will be an interesting one for Mr Rooney.\u00a0At 30 is Rooney finished?
\n\"Wayne<\/p>\n

Theo Walcott<\/h3>\n

Where do we start. At 27 it is safe to say Theo never really lived up to expectation since he joined Arsenal. He has consistently been one of the weaker players both mentally and physically. He’s not someone you would turn to in a big game. He has been one of Arsenal’s weakest links and this\u00a0year has been no different. \u00a0He’s only scored 5 goals. Statistically you need four Theo Walcott’s to make one Mesut Ozil. Hopefully Arsenal sell him this season.

Eliaquim Mangala<\/h3>\n

\u00a331.8 million to sit on the bench! The most expensive bench-warmer in the Premier League? Even Wilfried Bony is rated higher for the season. \u00a0There’s not much else to say is there really.
\n\"Eliaquim<\/p>\n

Radame Falcao<\/h3>\n

Does his inclusion even count! Radame Falcao was last seen in Manchester, please call 090 39039 930. The 30 year old has been missing for the whole season. Please return to Chelsea lost property. His performance was so bad this year, that there are no stats available online. At least he got a haircut!

Gabby Agbonlahor<\/h3>\n

When you see a friend you haven’t seen in years looking rough and think what happened here! That is exactly what happened to Gabby Agbonlahor. He used to be quick, skillful and full of promise. Only thing he’s full of now is donner kebabs.\u00a0It will be hard for him to find a club next season unless Villa decide to keep him. Ironically he wasn’t even the worst player in the team, however his attitude and behaviour off the pitch didn’t help.\u00a0The fans don’t want to see you smoking shisha and messing around with laughing gas in Dubai. No coming back from this surely.
\n\"Gabby<\/p>\n

Joleon Lescott<\/h3>\n

Joleon Lescott is a have decent defender who has played for Everton\u00a0and Manchester City. Perhaps he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. That’s not an excuse for a captain. Another player who was distracted off the pitch with flashy cars rather than concentrating on the job at hand. At 33 it will be though for him to redeem himself.
\n\"Joleon<\/p>\n

Jack Wilshere<\/h3>\n

To be fair to Jack he has only played two games all season and he’s been injured for most of that. In his absence, younger players such as Dele Alli and Ross Barkley have shown why Wilshere may not even make the England squad. \u00a0There is no denying his ability, it all comes to back attitude and focus. Perhaps Wenger is to blame for managing his players poorly.
\n\"Jack<\/p>\n

Bastian Schweinsteiger<\/h3>\n

On paper this looks like a good move. Experienced player who’s won it all comes to one the biggest clubs in the world. If anything he’s been a hindrance to Manchester United. Juan Mata has easily shown him up. Wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves at the end of the season. A shame really as there was much potential. Especially linking up with Wayne Rooney.

Per Mertesacker<\/h3>\n

Believe it or not Per is statistically Arsenal’s 8th best player. That doesn’t excuse his poor performances in big games. His lack of pace and strength against the big teams is embarrassing. He’s no Tony Adams now! Sorry Per, you’re just boring.

Eden Hazard<\/h3>\n

The only reason Eden is on the list is because of how poorly he’s performed this year. We all know can be the best player in the league as he showed us in the game\u00a0against Tottenham. His goal spectacular goal gifting Leicester City the title. We know next season will be different and we want to see the old Eden back.

Emmanuel Adebayor<\/h3>\n

Still about. Still being paid by Tottenham (we think). What were Crystal Palace thinking. The guy has run out of goals and passion. We honestly thought he was retired. You’ll probably see him upfront for Burnley next season. Imagine if he scored in the FA Cup final. LOL!
\n\"Emmanuel<\/p>\n

Wes Brown<\/h3>\n

Only picture we could find of him in a Sunderland shirt (from last season). Since moving from Manchester United Wes Brown has gone unnoticed at Sunderland.\u00a0Looks like this could be his last season. Apparently he’s made 6 appearances this season with a rating of -10. Time to call it a day really. He could’ve picked up a few tips off John O’Shea, who isn’t doing to bad.

Martin Demichelis<\/h3>\n

He’ll be remembered for three things this season. His mistake against Barcelona, being turned inside out by Rashford and being charged for betting by the FA. At 35 he’s another oldie on our list who probably should’ve called it a day a long time ago. We’re pretty certain he won’t feature for Manchester City next season at all.

Patrick Bamford<\/h3>\n

Some of you must be thinking who the hell is this guy. Currently on the Chelsea books, he’s done the rounds on loan at Norwich, Crystal Palace, Derby and Middlesbrough. Sadly he thought he was better than his performances suggested.\u00a0We can safely say that he probably won’t make the big time!
