20 years on from their Euro 96 Semi Final elimination at the hands of Germany, England could once again be facing an exit at the final four stage. That’s if the tournament plays out as the odds suggest!

NetBet has mapped out the route to the final using their current on site odds, and it’s bad news for Roy Hodgson and his men with the Three Lions forecast to go out in the Semi Finals against Spain.
Pre-tournament favourites France (29/10) are predicted to defeat second favourites Germany (9/2) in the second Semi Final, before going on to lift the trophy with victory over the Spanish in the Final on July 10th.
Fans of Northern Ireland and Wales will be disappointed to see that both countries are expected to fall at the first hurdle and fail to qualify from the Group Stages. Northern Ireland are predicted to finish bottom of Group C behind Germany, Poland and Ukraine, whilst Wales are expected to end up third in Group B but miss out as one of the four best third placed teams.

The outlook is similarly bleak for the Republic of Ireland who contest a competitive looking Group E alongside Belgium, Italy and Sweden. The odds have Martin O’Neill’s side finishing bottom of the pile and facing an early exit.
But, in a season where we had a 5,000/1 Premier League Champion, the bookmakers don’t always get it right!
