Italy host World Champions Germany in Milan this evening hoping to take revenge for their elimination from Euro 2016 after a penalty shootout.

Italy defeated Liechtenstein 4-0 on Saturday night, whilst Germany thumped minnows San Marino 8-0 on the same day. Thomas Muller later came out and questioned the validity of such a match, citing the risk of injury as a way of ensuring that they’re kept to a minimum in the future.

Misfiring West Ham striker Simone Zaza is also expected to play a part in tonight’s game. He rose to fame in the penalty shootout between the two sides, when he blazed his spot kick over the bar.
