Our expert tipster has taken a look at the football betting odds for this weekend’s Euro 2020 final between Italy and England, and believes that it’s possible that football is in fact coming home.

Is it coming home? If the answer to that question is going to be yes, Gareth Southgate’s men are going to need to put in a legendary shift against arguably the best team in the tournament in the Euro 2020 final.
Italy have had the tougher path to the final undoubtedly, having been dragged into deep waters by Austria before beating world number one Belgium and winning a penalty shoot-out with Spain in the semi-final.
England, on the other hand, faced a tough test in Germany before a handy trip to Rome where they hammered Ukraine before being taken to extra-time by Denmark.
One key factor will be the players’ levels of fatigue. Italy went to penalties with Spain, while England went 120 minutes with Denmark.
But while the hosts were beating Germany within the 90, Italy were forced to go two hours against Austria, which is sure to take its toll on the players.
With Freedom Day coming up just a week after the final, the stars could be aligning for a perfect month for England fans.

The oddsmakers have named England as very minor favourites, but they basically can’t split the sides for Sunday’s final.
Remember that this is a tournament final, so if it goes to extra-time and/or penalties and the team you have backed to win picks up the trophy, you have still lost the bet. You must bet on the ‘to win the cup’ market to back a team to go through via any method.
Italy are priced at 41/20 (20/21 to win the cup), while England are slightly favoured to win with odds of 8/5 (20/23 to win the cup). A draw over the 90 minutes is 2/1.

It’s been 55 years since England last won a major tournament, while the Italians are quite a bit more used to it in recent memory. We have to be realistic here, and it makes sense that Italy could end up winning this game within the 90 minutes and silence the London crowd.
England win to zero – 49/20
They’ve conceded just the one goal in this whole tournament, and we reckon England can do it again by keeping a clean sheet in the final! They’ll need to immobilize Immobile, which they have been able to do with the admittedly less impressive strikers they’ve faced so far, but it is a very attainable goal for Southgate’s defenders.
Harry Kane to score anytime – 7/4
Just the one goal stands between Kane and Cristiano Ronaldo, and he will be dying to pick up consecutive golden boots in major tournament. He’s been on the scoresheet in all of the knockout games so far, and this price seems really good for one last heroic moment from the Spurs man.
