In La Liga, the battle at the summit of the table is well and truly on. Real Sociedad will be confident in retaining top spot as they host a struggling Valencia side who have won just once in their last nine games. Real Madrid will be looking to capitalise on any potential slip-ups from the front-runners as they travel to face a Granada side that are only outside of the relegation zone thanks to a one goal advantage in goal difference. All eyes will be on the Camp Nou however as Xavi seeks to turn around Barcelona’s desperate situation against Espanyol, led by the dangerous Raul de Tomas.

Things aren’t so tight in France, with PSG establishing an early 10 point lead at the top of the table as they try to reclaim the Ligue 1 title. They will welcome mid-table Nantes to the Parc des Princes, where they have an 100% win record from their 6 home fixtures. Things are far closer at the opposite end of the table, with three teams locked on 12 points from 16th to 18th. Two of the bottom three, Metz and Bordeaux will face off in a relegation six-pointer which could prove crucial in the fight to survive.

The defensively sound Napoli lead Serie A on goal difference, with AC Milan hot on their tails. The league leaders will travel to Milan to face reigning Champions Inter, whilst AC will visit the in-form Dusan Vlahovic’s Fiorentina. A lot could change in the title race this weekend, so keep an eye on what’s happening in Italy.

Over in Germany, Bayern look good to win their 10th consecutive Bundesliga title, having already established a four-point lead over rivals Dortmund. Marco Rose’s side can’t afford any slip-ups, even at this early stage, and will need to secure all three points against relegation threatened Stuttgart. The Champions will travel to face 16th place Augsburg, with league top goalscorer Robert Lewandowski almost certain to improve on his 13 goals in 11 games.

*Odds correct at the time of publication and are subject to change.

Monaco vs Lille: Draw – 11/5

Locked side by side in the league, there isn’t too much to pick between these two teams. Both have star players in Jonathan David for Lille and Wissam Ben Yedder for Monaco. We think it will end all square.

Hoffenheim vs RB Leipzig: RB Leipzig win – 20/27

Leipzig have improved of late and their recent 2-1 win over Dortmund was impressive. We’re backing them to see off Hoffenheim and potentially move into the top four.

Inter Milan vs Napoli: Draw – 47/20

Napoli are yet to lose a game and have conceded just 4 in 12 games. They face a difficult trip to the San Siro, but the teams look evenly matched.

Real Sociedad vs Valencia: Real Sociedad win – 20/27

Sociedad are favourites for a reason – they have not lost in 16 games in all competitions. In contrast, Valencia have won just once in 9. We back the home team to extend their run at remain at the top of La Liga.
