Tottenham vs West Ham Football Preview

After a disappointing 3-2 defeat at Old Trafford, Spurs bounced backed with a comfortable 2-0 win away against a struggling Brighton side. The victory at the Amex has left Antonio Conte’s side within three points of the top four with just 10 games to play.

West Ham are also three points off the Champions League spots, but with three of the top four still to play, anything other than a win this weekend could end their dreams of competing among European elite next season.

These two sides have already met twice this season, and whilst West Ham picked up three points in the reverse fixture, Spurs were victorious in the Carabao Cup quarter-final. David Moyes’ side will make the short trip to North London struggling for form away from home – they have not won on the road in 90 minutes since New Years Day. The Hammers may also be forced to field a significantly weakened team, with Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and Aaron Cresswell all rumoured to miss Sunday’s game.

Whilst the visitors may be severely lacking in forward areas, the hosts will come into this game with an attacking trio that is firing on all cylinders. Harry Kane has scored seven in his last seven games and Dejan Kulusevski has scored twice and assisted four in eight league appearances. The game will likely come down to whether the Hammers can contain that attacking line.

Our NetBet win probability counter suggests an away with is unlikely at 21%, whilst a draw is more probable at 24% and a Spurs win most likely at 55%.

Tottenham vs West Ham Football Odds

Despite winning two of the last three meetings, West Ham will go into the game as underdogs at 17/5, with Spurs the favourites at 20/29 and a draw priced at 14/5.

Tottenham vs West Ham Betting Tips

*Odds correct at the time of publication and are subject to change.

Tottenham Win to Zero – 2/1

With West Ham potentially missing their two top goalscorers, they might struggle to get on the scoresheet. If Spurs can keep them quiet from set-pieces, there is every chance they can win this to nil.

Harry Kane to Score First – 3/1

After a slow start to the season, England’s captain has finally got going in recent months. Kane has scored in four straight Premier League games and has netted 10 in his last 12. If anyone is going to break the deadlock, there’s a good chance it will be Kane.

Create Your Bet Special: Spurs win 2-1, Harry Kane anytime goalscorer – 12/1

West Ham will always pose a threat with their direct approach, but Spurs should have enough to come out on top. Their front three is among the best in the league and they simply cannot afford to drop points if they are to catch their North London rivals.
