Arsenal beat Tottenham and both teams to score – 47/20

This looks a strong option based on how these two attacks are performing this season. Both are in fine form in front of goal and possess talents that can fashion a chance out of nothing. This bet has landed in three of Arsenal’s previous four wins and both teams have netted in five of the last seven league meetings between Arsenal and Spurs.

Given the way in which the Gunners have started the campaign and the fact they have not lost a league game against Spurs at the Emirates in a decade, they look to have the edge. We still fancy Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son will carve out a chance or two, but Mikel Arteta’s much improve defence is better equipped to deal with Spurs than in seasons gone by. Strap in for an end-to-end thriller.

West Ham vs Wolves: Under 2.5 goals – 4/6

This game has got draw written all over it, but we’ve taken a different angle for our betting tip – under 2.5 goals. These are the two lowest scoring attacks in the league, with each managing to find the net just three times in seven games. But they are also two strong defences – Everton are the only team in the bottom half that has conceded fewer than West Ham and Wolves.

So, neither team look like they can score, and both look solid at the back. West Ham have scored just once at the London Stadium, whilst Wolves have scored just once on the road. Surely this can’t be a back and forth high-scoring affair!

Man City beat Man United and both teams to score – 13/10

Manchester United’s record at the Etihad post Sir Alex Ferguson is surprisingly good. In the 10 visits they have made to face their neighbours since Fergie left, they have won half, drawn once and lost four. The Reds have also netted in eight of those 10 games, and with their obvious threat being the transition, there’s every chance they cause this City team problems.

Eventually Pep Guardiola’s team should force them into submission. Erling Haaland is probably the most in-form player in world football, and even if you manage to keep him quiet, they have numerous other talents that can create a moment of magic. This could be a closer game than people think, but City are a level above.
