Chelsea to draw with Manchester United – 45/17

The biggest game of the weekend comes from Stamford Bridge where Graham Potter’s much improve Chelsea side host an inconsistent Manchester United. Chelsea have wasted no time in shoring things up at the back since the new manager’s arrival, but they face a tricky task in keeping out United’s talented attack on Saturday evening. The Blues are undefeated in three home matches since Potter took over and they have conceded just once in that time.

United make the trip to London after a turbulent run of form. Erik ten Hag has stamped his authority on this team, but they are still yet to fully convince they are the finished article. A trip to Chelsea might just play into the Red Devils’ hands, with their obvious strength in transition likely to be in full effect. They would probably take a point if offered it before the match and it is not beyond the realms of possibility that we see a fifth consecutive draw between these teams.

Brentford to beat Aston Villa – 16/7

There’s something not quite right at Aston Villa, and if Steven Gerrard doesn’t come up with a solution soon, he might be out the door. They have not exactly had the worst results this season, but they seem to be lacking any real cutting edge – a major problem when their attack consists of talents like Philippe Coutinho, Emi Buendia and Ollie Watkins. They are simply not scoring enough goals to drag themselves up the table, with another tough test against Brentford coming up.

The Bees are hardly in scintillating form, but they have the one thing that Villa don’t, a goalscorer. Ivan Toney looks primed for another prolific season and has already established himself as one of the league’s top finishers as we approach a third of the way through the campaign. He could be the difference-maker yet again in the Midlands.

Fulham to beat Leeds – 19/8

After the promise shown by Leeds in the early stages of the season, things have taken a turn for the worse. They have plummeted towards the bottom three as a result of some shocking away form and they are also finding goals hard to come by. They will fancy their chances this weekend when they welcome the Cottagers to Elland Road, but it will be anything but smooth sailing.

Whilst Fulham have struggled against the big boys, they have picked up good results against those teams that are likely to be in and around them come the end of the season. This is another example of one of those fixtures, and these odds are huge for a team that have looked really capable at times. Aleksandr Mitrovic will of course be the one to watch. The Serbian is a real handful and can cause the best defences in the league problems on his day. An away win would put an enormous dent in the confidence of the Leeds camp.
