South Korea vs Portugal
Portugal’s 2-0 win over Uruguay secured their spot in the round of 16, whilst South Korea know they need to beat the 2016 European champions after defeat to Ghana. Portugal have asserted dominance over this group and will be looking to carry the momentum of three wins from three into the knockout phase. There is the possibility they rest key players, but their squad depth will keep them as comfortable favourites.
South Korea know a win might not even be enough after suffering heartbreak against Ghana. They will give everything in their final Qatar outing, but they will likely come up short against an in-form Portugal.
Portugal win – 1.64
Score prediction: 0-2
Ghana vs Uruguay
Ghana could turn out to be the surprise package of the tournament, and we expect them to do enough to earn a spot in the next round. They will have to improve defensively after conceding five in their opening two games, but Uruguay are yet to score a goal in the competition.
Many people’s dark horse before the tournament got underway, Uruguay have been a bitter disappointment thus far. A win would be enough to extend their stay in Qatar providing Portugal don’t lose, but the Ghanaians will do everything in their power to come away with at least a point.
Draw – 3.80

Serbia vs Switzerland
This has the potential to be an incredibly feisty affair, one which we think Serbia will get the better of. They have looked far more threatening going forward than Switzerland, but will need to tighten up at the back if they are to claim all three points and give themselves a chance of progressing.
The Swiss are a very pragmatic and efficient side. They might not create too many chances, but they don’t concede too many either. The longer this one goes on the, the nervier it will become.
Serbia win – 2.56
Score prediction: 1-0
Cameroon vs Brazil
Cameroon gave a good account of themselves in a 3-3 draw with Serbia, but their competition will likely come to and end against Brazil. The tournament favourites are already through and will rotate as a result. However, those that have warmed the bench thus far are hardly a downgrade in quality – Brazil arguably have two teams that could win the World Cup!
