Premier League 2025/26 – Matchday 33 Betting Tips

Premier League Matchday 33

We really are approaching the business end of the 2025-26 Premier League season.

The title race has reached fever-pitch levels, with Arsenal’s 2-1 loss at Bournemouth handing the initiative to Manchester City, who thrashed Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge in response.

Of course, the top two meet at the Etihad in a Super Sunday clash which ranks as one of the biggest Premier League games in recent memory.

We also have Everton vs Liverpool and Chelsea vs Manchester United on a stacked Matchday 33 schedule.

All three of those matches will be previewed in separate blogs, but first we are taking a look at three other exciting games coming up this weekend – including a potentially season-defining contest for Tottenham against Brighton.

Brighton to beat Tottenham @ 2.33

This is the Roberto De Zerbi derby, as the new Spurs boss previously managed Brighton – and enjoyed a fair bit of success. But the Italian’s start to life with the North London outfit was poor in the extreme, as the Lilywhites suffered a 1-0 loss at Sunderland to leave them two points adrift of safety. Relegation is now looking a stark reality, and in-form Brighton can capitalise on their upcoming opponents’ fragile confidence. The Seagulls have won five of the last six following last weekend’s 2-0 victory at Burnley, while Spurs are yet to taste a Premier League triumph this year – a run which stretches 14 games. Backing Brighton feels like a no-brainer.

Leeds to beat Wolves @ 1.59

The odds here are not as attractive, but after Leeds’ performance at Manchester United on Monday, this selection looks close to a banker. Daniel Farke’s men were simply brilliant at Old Trafford, deservedly winning 2-1. As for Wolves, a 4-0 defeat at West Ham last Friday was a stark reminder of their struggles in all departments, with a place in the Championship next season soon to be confirmed. Leeds have a fairly modest home record of six wins from 16 games in 2025-26, but this looks the perfect contest for them to almost secure survival.

Newcastle vs Bournemouth: Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.40

While Newcastle’s hopes of Champions League qualification are over, you feel this is a huge match in the context of Eddie Howe’s future. Up against a former employer, the Magpies boss desperately needs a St James’ Park win after four losses in the last six across all competitions, including consecutive top-flight defeats vs Sunderland (1-2) and Crystal Palace (2-1). But Bournemouth are the opposite of pushovers, evidenced by the victory at Arsenal last Saturday. It is a hard game to call in truth, so this BTTS pick looks the safest option. Both teams scored in 15 of Newcastle’s previous 16 matches, as well as in four of the last five meetings between these sides. A great option to boost the odds in an acca.
